Might actually be 100 lbs, or I might be severely out of shape. Either way, sleeping in this thing is like being hugged by a tamed bengal tiger. All of my roomates took turns trying it for a spell and I even caught one of their girlfriends napping in my bed. I'm not sure if it is a pass at me or the blanket- I'll keep you posted. Either way I would highly recommend it. I'm 6'7 and fully stretched out this thing covers me from my toes to about shoulder height when sleeping my back.
One downside is that everyone wants to use it and you won't be able to comfortably cover 2 people with one blanket unless you're spooning.

I don't write reviews, but my wife was rather insistent. It's only been one night since receiving it and she urged me to let everyone know how wonderful this thing is. She slept better than she has in years.

This is a magic blanket. It seriously causes such a heavy and relaxed feeling after laying under it for just 10 minutes. I cannot lay under this thing if I don't want to feel sleepy~ Knocks my guests out too LOL. Buyer beware...it's a true therapeutic blanket and should be treated as such. Truly excellent for depression, insomnia, anxiety.

For years my husband has had to put several covers on(approximately 7) every night. He liked the weight of the blankets. I ordered this blanket and it is the best!!!! It is soft, well made and the weight is perfect. Wish they had this 30 years ago!!!! I now have to get one for my grandkids.
- Wonderful blanket, it works!
I have been diagnosed with Panic Disorder and Sensory Processing Disorder. This blanket is wonderful and does the job calming me when I am stressed. It is large, large enough to cover both my husband and me on a king bed. It IS heavy to lug around though, but that is to be expected. I got the 15 lb one and it is perfect.
There is one BIG problem though, my husband has hijacked it! He has restless leg syndrome and found that this blanket GREATLY reduces his symptoms and allows him to sleep soundly. Looks like I am going to have to order another one.

I am a very light sleeper with lots of chronic sleep issues. The weighted blanket was my last resort. I slept almost all the way through the night the first time I tried it!! I feel so much more ready and able to face the day!

Yes, I was skeptical about paying over $150 for a weighted blanket. We have an adult son with a long history of sleep troubles and this has made a great difference in his quality and quantity of sleep. I bought one for my husband and now we are trading off at night as to who gets to use it (largest size doesn't cover a king sized bed) The weight (we got a 20 lb blanket) just settles on you and you can feel your frayed nerves just calming down and coming together. My sleep is deeper and I wake more refreshed after using the weighted blanket. I compare this to when you would sleep under 4-5 cotton quilts at grandmas house and the weight was just so comforting. Sometimes it gets a bit hot at night so if you "run hot," you may not need another blanket. Making the bed can be a little bit of a workout so watch your shoulder if you have a bad shoulder. Other than that, I really recommend this as a non-pharmaceutical solution to sleep challenges.

- Locate the concealed zipper on the outer cover
- Turn the outer cover inside out

- With a bow, use the corner ribbons to tie the outer cover to the inner weighted blanket
- Reach through the zipper and grab the opposite corners of the blanket
- Pull the furthest corners completely through the zipper opening and thus turning the entire blanket outside in
